    I like your motto! ;-)

Paper ballots. Collect them in clear plexiglass boxes, so any "stuffing" can be witnessed. Keep a camera trained on the boxes. When the box is full, empty the ballots to the counting tables, which are in full view of the voters, and also under camera's eyes.Broadcast the counting on public access cable. Archive it on the web. Recruit at least one counter per 250 registered voters in order to keep the counting speedy and efficient. Recruit counters from the jury pool if not enough people volunteer. Screen counters for overt partisan bias.

Keep the ballots simple. A seperate ballot for each office in contention, on federal, state, local levels. For the presidential race, we need a standard ballot in all precincts and districts, nationwide.

That's just for starters. We also need to make it illegal for election officials such as Secretary of State to be intimately involved in campaigns. No more campaign-co chair Secs. of state. We need stricter laws to protect ballot counters from harassment and intimidation. No more Brooks Bros. riots. Election day should be a national holiday. Let's vote on November 11th: Veterans' Day. I think that idea speaks for itself, no? Finally, we should abolish the obsolete and antiquated electoral college, or at least reform it to end the "winner take all" rule. Let the popular vote rule.

E-voting is insecure and expensive. We don't need it.

Paper ballots. Hand counted. IN PUBLIC.

Al Qeada is a faith-based initiative.
