  •  I'll be surprised (4.00)
if the Liberals win a minority - barely -  supported by the NDP with just enough seats to hold it (including the dying guy, and a couple of independents.) Then the deputy opposition leader's girlfriend defects to the ruling party, giving them enough votes to... d'oh!!!

Expect more of the same, this time with a Seperatist party (with a leader, Mr. Boisclair who has admitted to using cocaine in the past), a Neo Con Right Wing Scary party, the Liberano's (stupid stupid branding Harper) and Jack.  Who doesn't love Jack?

    •  Naw, it's still Duceppe (none)
The coke-guy is the new leader of the provincial separatist party, the Parti Quebecois - who are expected to clean the provincial Liberal government's clock in the next provincial election.

Me.  I find his personality irritating.  And yet, as I stated above, I'd still vote for him and the NDP.

      •  Agreed (none)
Unfortunately my riding votes liberal, easily so my NDP vote is usually lost...and then my bloody MP is speaker so doesn't vote unless there is a tie...annoying as I call his office often

        •  The story of my life (none)
I'm from North Carolina and our congressman has been Republican for more years than I can remember, as well as the vast majority of senators.

I'd be a lot happier if my choice were between parties like the Liberals and NDP, though.

Oh, and the only person more irritating than Jack Layton is Olivia Chow.  Keep me at least at a 10km distance from their house!!!

    •  Boiseclare is the Provincial Bloc leader (none)
not the leader of the national party.
      •  provincial - corrected. (none)
thanks for that, it's hard enough keeping up with one party who's raison d'etre is breaking up the country that pays their pensions.  How is it anyway that a federal party can be seperatist?
