what are those ideas and how are they different than biden's??

clark may have more direct real world experience with NATO so clark would certainly be the better implementer or executor of such a plan ..

but the plan itself is still the same.

    •  I don't have time now (none)
to look up Biden's detailed plan, if indeed he has one, but you can find Clark's detailed plan right here: plan.

Later on I might see if I can make a point-by-point comparison.

      •  I saw Clark speak a few weeks ago... (none)
The big point he was harping on was getting Syria and Iran on board was essential to success in Iraq, and I think he was absolutely correct in that.

He's really got a whole plan on top of that to "fight" the culture of terrorism in the same way as we fought the Cold War against the Soviet Union.

    •  Mostly, it's the HOW (none)
It's the HOW, just like the reasoning that the Democrats can get us out of Iraq while the Republican's can't.

But Clark's plan  seems more thorough and came first, so if anything, it's Biden's plan that sounds most like Clark's (not the other way around)

(I should resist my urge to highlight Biden's propensity to plagiarize but I can't)

      •  well.... (none)
both clark and biden have been talking about the same things for about three years now.

their plans are consistent with priorities that they both long established.  biden was talking about soft power solutions in 2003...

        so was clark.

god forbid ... even when democrats agree on an agreed course of action we still attack each other over who came first.  it's very 4th grade.

well if that's what it's come to, then if i have to go get proof of biden's emphasis on soft power solutions to iraq that were presented years ago, i guess i can do that.

but it seems i'd be fulfilling more of a petty than a productive whim on your part.
