  •  It's evidence (none)
he's not a wingnut.  Being for cancer research doesn't make him a Democrat.  A lot of people seem to be able to divorce the GOP from their wacked-out policies.  The very existence of the Log Cabin Republicans is proof of that.  They hate everything about the Republicans but vote for them because they're against taxes.

The fact that Armstrong has linked up with Sheryl Crow is proof that he's at least willing to listen to reason.  Perhaps Sheryl can push him into the Democratic party. Maybe he's already there.  But on the other hand, Maria Shriver hasn't had much influence on Schwarzenegger.

We hold these truths to be self-evident . . .

    •  He's Blue (none)
      From the "other evidence" link:

By Texas political standards, he would almost certainly run as a Democrat, as he has described himself in the past as being "middle to left," "against mixing up State and Church," "not keen on guns," opposed to the Iraq War, and pro-choice.

Armstrong was quoted by The Times in 2004 about his views on Iraq: "I don't like what the war has done to our country, to our economy. My kids will be paying for this war for some time to come.

    •  Austin (none)
The fact he chooses to live in Austin, Texas (yes that EVIL Texas that some assholes here dont like) should say enough about his politics.  Conservative is a word not often used to describe Austin.

It's why I live there too.
