    Corporations that own networks are far more interested in sucking up to government, because of their government licenses to print money, than major newspapers are.

    So Rove sets up Bush to go to network shows for his rare interviews, and Bush gets the emperor-is-fully-clothed treatment from the carefully chosen network pretty boys.

    And the corporate wing of the Democratic Party sets up Duckworth for unique and unprecedented national TV exposure, and we're to think it's just because she's a maimed veteran.


    I guess I agree it's about money, but in a different way.

    The Republicans want to cut YOUR Social Security benefits.
