  •  Helpless pretty much conveys my feeling too (none)
I am so tired of hearing about these new stories, each one worse and progressively outrageous, that I'm beginning to feel numb.  My optimistic attitude is definitely beginning to suffer.  What a depressing way to end an evening.  *sigh*

I'm heading off to dream of frogmarches - where my world will turn right side up again, just because that's the way it should be.

    •  Hey (none)
Do not be depressed.  What is happening now is a temporary situation, and there is a group of grassroots candidates that are going to bring light upon what is going on, and awareness of a problem is more than half the battle.  Too many people in our country just do not know what is going on, and that will change over the next 11 months, I promise you!  So hang tough.

      where you live.

It really makes a difference in how I feel to know that I am working on outreach and change in my local precinct.

So many people I talk with in my precinct are so fed up and ready to take action, that it is really quite encouraging to go around from door to door - people from every walk of life, every age, ... Inspiring.

Things will get worse before they get better. In the meantime, we are building for a better future.

In our last election (CA) turnout was expected to be about 40%. It was over 50% statewide, but low in mostly Republican areas, much higher in Democratic areas where we are all fired up.

And we defeated Arnold's propositions, and all the others, too. Everyone understood what we had to do. Woohoooo!
