    It's not about getting what you want tomorrow.

    It's about pushing the envelope.

    The more some folks scream "Impeach," the more reasonable Conyers, Dean and Murtha will sound to the average person.

    It's the reverse O'Reilly/Coulter/Limbaugh effect.

    •  Build the momentum - it won't happen overnight (none)
    •  It's really a tough choice. (none)
      On one hand, if we can get the Republicans on board, an Impeachment of Bush is more likely before 2007.

      But then they will gain in the eyes of the public, and may not lose enough seats in 2006 to lose power.  Plus if they keep control of the House, even if BUsh and Cheney go, then we are still left with a Republican President, who will go into 2008 as the incumbent.

      On the other hand, if we can tough out this year of Bush, win back the House and Senate, impeach him ourselves and leave the Republicans to reap what they have sown...that would be far better in the long run.
