  •  So does this mean (none)
it won't make its way to the Supremes?
    •  This particular case won't.......... (none)
but maybe a future Kentucky or New Mexico case might.  Who knows?

      •  They can try it elsewhere... (none)
...and they might, if they're VERY lucky, and have both a sympathetic judge as well as Fundie-ridden school board, win one at the local level.  But the ACLU would immediately appeal, using the Dover case as a precedent.  And the ACLU would win on appeal.

More likely is that even with venue-shopping, the ID clowns would still lose at the local level, then be compelled to slink off and retool from the ground up.  And not just their legal strategies, either, but their whole system for trying to smuggle Christianity-disguised-as-something-else onto public school curriculums.

Judge Jones' ruling has made it all-but-impossible for the Fundies to succeed simply by going the rebranding route:  They tried rebranding Christianity as "creationism", and got shot down.  Then they tried rebranding creationism as "intelligent design", and got shot down again.  The third time will NOT be the charm, not unless they totally rework their entire game plan.  But by the time that they realize that this needs to be done, the reality-based folk will have finally triumphed legally.

    •  They couldn't get this past the Ronettes n/t (4.00)
