  •  I'm all for teaching creationism (none)
    as long as we also teach reincarnation as a scientific fact. Also, that all creatures were born by the Earth Mother. There has to be some way to include the rivers of honey somehow. Obviously, we can't talk about the 71 virgins, because, you know, sex ed is better left to the parents.

      And if there is just a single distribution for eternity, you're going to want your full complement, with nothing else to do. At least the Christians have praising and casting down golden crowns and free love [no marrying or giving in marriage] as diversions. Jews can cheerfully spend eternity arguing over discussing the Talmud. You'll be stuck with your [incomplete] set of virgins. Granted, your virgins probably have to remain virginal [bummer], but you'll still want all you're entitled to. Insist on 72; it's the rule.

      The Mayans had a pretty cool creation story. They recently discovered a mural describing it in Mexico. The LA Times said it was a myth, but what do THEY know?
