  •  Bush is pulling a Nixon (none)
And you know what happened to him.

But, history does not exactly repeat itself. This president has much more executive power than  Tricky Dicky.

I think we are in for quite a schock, my friends.

All government, of course, is against liberty.

    •  History does not repeat, but it does rhyme. n/t (none)
      •  Is this a trick statement, my dear jester? (none)
Are you referring to "Tricky Dicky" who is now history and is barely worth repeating?

All men are frauds. The only difference between them is that some admit it. I myself deny it.

    •  Actually, the mere fact that the king-makers are (4.00)
now attacking blogs and bloggers (and that does seem to be the latest battle cry), suggests that blogs like this and posts like this are making headway in exposing the naked power grabs bent on destroying the constitution.

Though one post may seem small, the presentation of information, which backs up by historical precedent what seems obvious to us all in the latest efforts to rule by executive order, the cumulative effect of such efforts emboldens our side and increasingly exposes  the sham of a presidency, which we have in bush.

Thank you, Armando - and other diarists - and kossaks for your efforts and research and self-less concern for our nation!

It's "revolution by blogging" - and a revolution to simply restore the constitution at that!

      •  Well spoken, mein freund n/t (none)
