    ... are fine, fine people with mutually different ideas about a few important things.  The day all of us aren't awestruck by the horrors our uniformed men and women see, the day all of us aren't appreciative to those men and women for being there, and the day that all of us don't rally around our soldiers even if we disagree on the politics that move them around the world like chess pieces... well, that's the day that we've forgotten something important about being Americans: never stop questioning the government, but never stop respecting your fellow citizens as individuals with individual dreams and ideas.

    I hate that we, as a nation, are in Iraq.  I'm awed that our boys and girls, as people, are in Iraq, doing a bloody, thankless job, even in the best of times.

    You can never ask too many questions.
