Like Nevelson, they hit on something that sold, and then created one for every museum in the world. I gues that's okay, as it exposed more people to their work - but did they grow in their art, or just become a production line?

Do you remember the show that was on PBS inthe late 1970's about art? I can't remember the name, but it was generaly great. There was one segment that featured Jackson (Jack the Dripper) Pollock, There he was, long canvas on the ground, buckets of paint, out in the middle of the fucking desert. He gazes out at the horizon, and drips paint. What a crock of shit. But it sells - more power to him. Just don't give me the grad school bullshit.
