    Not the present or the future, which we aren't in a position to judge.

    Say, for the sake of argument, that Nader actually does what he says he's going to do, namely go after Bush in ways the Dems cannot or will not.

    If he does, isn't that more likely to undermine Bush than the Dem candidate? If he does that, he will have followed the diktat Weber prescribes.

    As far as the rest of us goes, I've done as much as I can stomach to frame the presidential debate in terms favorable to the Democratic candidate.

    There are other races. I'll work to help win Congressional and Senate seats.
