What's funny about this meme is that BOTH Ross Perot and Ralph Nader (diametrically opposed in ideology to each other) used this in their respective campaigns. Although I think Ross's was extended to "Not for Sale--At Any Price".

about Perot, but the man is only half as crazy you might think.

I really believe that both ideologies - a democratic socialist one or a minimalist federal government can achieve domestic policy success.  The key is justice, and I think fundamentally that's what at the heart of both Perot's and Nader's mindset.

      •  Hey, I actually voted for Perot... (none)

Precisely because I loved where he stood re: getting rid of corruption and overspending in government.

Which is why I supported and still do support Howard Dean. Both of them constantly get berated in the MSM for being "crazy"; but sometimes you need the mavericks to get true progress done in gov't.

I think that fundamentally the mindset of both Perot and Nader and even Badnarik is what Washington and the country needs.

Now, the specifics how Perot and Badnarik would get the job done I probably disagree with, as with most of what Nader's platform would probably be.  But, that's the good thing about reality; the reality is that there isn't the one true way to get to a goal, multiple implementations lead to the same goal.

Democrats are paid off to pass NAFTA, CAFTA, tellecomunications act, Patriot Act, Iraq war, and so on. Time to fuss up, Democrats whore just as much as Republicans.
