  •  Women drive the U.S. economy (none)
Where would this economy be if all American women took Kate O'Beirne's advice?

According to the most recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are about 66 million women aged 20 or over in the U.S. workforce, accounting for about 44 percent of the total.

If one were to reduce U.S. Gross Domestic Product by that share, our GDP per capita ranking would fall from second (behind Luxembourg, according to the CIA Factbook) to 42nd, behind almost every European country plus the Arab oil countries plus Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and New Zealand.
