      •  Nominal 'Dems' don't come w/ guarantees (none)
not president,  we need dems there the most right now

Not much point in putting more Dems in Congress if they consistently vote AGAINST basic civil rights and FOR the corporate interests.  For every one with the integrity of Mr. Englin, you'll find two or three that will vote with Joe Lieberman or Hillary or some of the other losers.  It's time to pick and choose which Democrats are worth voting for.

I agree we need more of the right kind of people in Congress; and I'm sure more than a few will be Democrats; but we've got to get rid of all the jerks who are there now.  That means ALL the Republicans...including those Republicans who CALL themselves 'Democrats'.

We know who they are.  Some of them talk the talk, but don't walk the walk; others, increasingly, don't even bother to talk the talk....they vote for Patriot Acts, War Resolutions, Tort 'Reform', Bankruptcy 'Reform' and a host of other things that hurt working/middle class citizens.  They have no constituents--OR principles--they wouldn't betray for the sake of their own careers.
"Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others." -- Groucho Marx...[or was it Hillary Clinton?]

      •  He's in Jim Moran's Congressional (4.00)
District, so until Moran retires, the seat's not open (unless Englin ever decides to challenge Moran in a primary, but that would be fraught with difficulty).
