  •  I read this right after reading (none)
    a story on Yahoo that the Pentagon is forbidding soldiers from buying their own armor because they arent buying it from the contracted vendor.

    If I thought that appropriating more money would get them the armor and other things they need, then I would be all for it, and perhaps that is what she has in mind. But I fear that more money means more for Haliburton and other contractors and it would not get where it was truly needed.

        I am mental tonight..I read the story here, left the computer and fixed dinner, came back and completely forgot I read it here on kos...I think Im on information overload today and I cant keep my sources straight...Im sorry! Its like being the person at the party who tells a joke 5 minutes after the host has told it...sighhh
