  •  Green Party? (none)
Yeah, switch to the Greens, that'll teach 'em. Just like Ralph Nader did. If the Dem party disintegrates, you can kiss good-bye America as we've known it.

Just more reason to go.  For two decades the DLC Dems have said, "Support us, or else!"  Well, I'll try the "Or Else" for a change - seeing as the Dems have done a whole lot of nuttin' of late.  Let's make a list - -
      1. War in Iraq - nope.
      2. Gitmo - nope.
      3. 9-11 Investigation - nope.
      4. Bill of Rights - nope.
      5. Women's Rights - nope.
      6. GLBT Rights - nope.
      Hmmmm - I sure ain't be getting a lot from Dems - - lately.

I hope your experience with the Green Party is all you've hoped for. See you at the ballot box!

In the meantime I'll stick with the guys that have a chance at being a majority again in MY lifetime.

Go, Senator Kerry, win or lose.

        •  Good luck with your historically unsound theory. (none)
I'm a very strong Democrat, but if Democrats don't stand up for Democratic principles, then the Democratic party is an empty shell. It can and will fail, and a new party built on a new paradigm will take its place.

All my independent associates blame the Democrats for not having the intestinal fortitude to properly counterbalance the Republican machine. They've made it clear that they will not give power to Democrats who won't oppose bad policies with passion and determination.

At this rate, I can't blame them. A party that lacks principles, tenacity or a willingness to look after its own base is worthless as representation. That's why the independents voted for the half-wit, twice. Unlike a lot of `leading' Democrats, the half-wit can sound like he believes what he is saying and demonstrates a dogged willingness to fight for it.

For those who think the democratic party is perpetual and ever-lasting should read up on the United States Whig Party. It's very educational.

Want to make a difference in the media war? Kill your cable, write a letter to the company and give that money to independent media.
