  •  The reason why... (none)
...and I didn't do it - is that this person has spammed literally every single thread with this post. It's goddamn annoying, and people should know better.
    •  is it really that annoying to you? (4.00)
man, how about a little perspective on things - it's a helpful tool that makes it easy for people to take action - get a life....and call your senators.....
      •  It's more than annoying. (none)
        It's against the rules.

Look, I want people to give money to Americans United for the Separation of Church and State, but if I posted about that, the exact same post mind you, in every single thread, I'd be troll-rated and trufed out of here.

there's nothing wrong with the content of the JudiBot's message, but when you start putting your pet cause out there in every thread just because it's important, the entire site would be covered in useless crap.

        •  That is NOT even in the same catagory (4.00)
as this SCOTUS nomination which will affect each and every one of us for the next 30+ years.

Pet cause for judybrown? You think that is what this SCOTUS nomination is all about?

          •  Of course Alito is about something much bigger. (none)
But so is the Iraq War. So is abortion. So is wiretapping. So is Intelligent Design. So is election fraud.

Should we cover all of those in every thread, with the same message, over and over, or would you get a little sick of it after a while?

            •  And do you think (none)
we will get anywhere on any of those issues with Alito?  Hell no!

              •  Of course not. (none)
And that's why I made my calls and sent my emails the first day the JudiSpamBot posted her call to action.

I did my part. But that was before the spamming of over 100 threads with the same message. Now I'm just annoyed that, rather than take a constructive route, this person is being embraced for using the entire community as a single issue cause, in ways that contravene the dKos rules.

By any means necessary is a great tagline, but in reality, it doesn't work.

    •  Thank you (none)
      for the explanation.
