  •  There can be no greater fight... (4.00)
than that for our country. The Alito filibuster is now becoming the pivotal moment in our history where Constitutional loyalists clash with Bush loyalists over the very identity of the United States.

I urge all Democratic Senators to consider the alternative. I urge all of you to listen carefully to what ordinary citizens, online, are fearing, what they're saying, and what they're writing. This moment in our history will never return, and here we are, on the verge of allowing the Constitution to lose its relevancy.

Democratic Senators are willing to allow for a complete takeover of the neo-conservative agenda, in all three branches of government. It has to stop here, right now, before we can ever gain the momentum to demand free and fair elections, which we do NOT have at this moment.

I fear that the Democratic Senators are asleep. I fear that they've become complacent and fearful. I fear that they listen to two sources other than the voters for guidance: the mainstream media and their corporate donors.

The media are clearly controlled by the Bush Cabal. The Senators fear that if they make waves to large, the mainstream media will notice and use them as scapegoats. And the corporate donors are heavily invested in the status quo, which means that if Senators can be depicted as "whackos" then the corporate campaign money will stop.

Finally, I fear that the voters, endangered more than ever due to alterations in electronic voting software, come in an irrelevant and distant third.

So, Senator Kennedy and others, represent US. Represent the people who want their country back, who want a government that represents our common interests.

Stand up for a filibuster, and if necessary, WALK OUT of the State of the Union Address to show your complete and uncompromising disapproval for what Bush has done to our country. The risk is worth our future.
