  •  Dean supports the action by Kerry and Kennedy (none)
Or so I've read him quoted. But he doesn't actually have much control over actions in the Senate. He can voice his opinion, and probably has, to the senate leadership(he certainly has publically). But Harry's the one with the job (and for the record I mostly like his work too, though not sure yet on this one. He's cagey, we'll see...)

I tend to use the carrot more than the stick. I send money when dems have taken action I like. I send it where I think people are trying to make change happen. I don't take away money already awarded when I don't like the latest situation. That's just me.

Underlying my post--it seems that if there is a chance to reshape the party more in the image we'd like, then it's with Dean. If we undercut his initiatives, he'll be replaced by someone a lot more "traditional". And we are back where we were before, or worse. So I'm suggesting we think about tactics before we vent our despair (and I do know that sense of despair, I really do)...

I just hope we'll aim our fire at the right people and not shoot ourselves in the foot by accident.
