Check out Matt Stoller's post at MyDD titled: "You Don't Get Points for Trying".

Of course then he followed it up with "Fighting for Our Values" an hour and a half later.

Fastest flip-flop in history? I don't know cuz after reading the first one, I didn't bother to read any more.  Maybe the second headline is just deceptive.

Whose side is he on? (or, which 2008 candidate is he backing, that taking shots at Kerry - with lies, no less - is at least temporarily more important than "Fighting for Our Values"?)

    •  He hates Kerry... (none)
...the same goes for John Aravosis over at AmericaBlog, because they're both pushing the identical "Kerry is using you!!!" themes -- even though Teddy Kennedy's been the whip on this issue.

To paraphrase what I posted over there:  Hey, I backed Dean in the primaries, but even I got over it and put aside my dislike of Kerry.  If I can do, anyone can!

      •  Kerry seems late to the table on this one. (none)
To me he seemed to show up as soon as he knew it was a popular position with the party base. I don't really care why he did it since there is no way he's getting through another primary season. But I've gotta admit it did seem a bit bandwagonish,

To lodge all power in one party and keep it there is to insure bad government and the sure and gradual deterioration of the public morals. - Mark Twain
