It was a joke.  You're still better than most Republicans.  You just need some remedial science eduation, that's all.  It's not your fault ... the majority of American got absolutely terrible science education in school.

I guess I'm having a very off night but are you implying that I'm a republican?   Because I'm sick and tired of defending that I'm a liberal, just because I disagree with a few things.

Hillary will be pres in 08 and there is nothing you can do about it!

No, I didn't imply anything.  You inferred.  I simply said you were better than most Republicans.  It would simply be wrong for me to assert that all Democrats are all better than all Republicans because that's obviously false.

done arguing this because there is just no point even trying anymore.  None of you are even willing to talk about it you all just want to shoot it down and say demeaning things about me and my opinion.  It would be nice if all of you took away your 1 rating because of my opinions.  Last thing if anyone wonders why people are not warming up to Democrats it's because of people in our party who have an attitude like you.

I'm actually more than willing to talk (see all of my posts as an example).  You're the one who's running away.  If you want to talk further there's better forums to do so ... might want to check out Talk.Origins.  And of course, read up on the archive.

because in all honesty, there really is NO reason for ID in science classes.  As it's been mentioned several times, ID is antithetical to science, as it allows no room for research or experimentation.  And yet we're supposed to believe that it's a valid competing 'theory' (which again is being misrepresented in the sense that theory holds a much different meaning scientifically than it does in laymens terms.  THe laymen idea of theory is much closer to a hypothesis) to evolution and the big bang.

This is an example of a false balance, giving two sides of an issue equal credence, despite the overwhelming evidence supporting the one side, compared to little to no evidence on the other side.  THAT is why the idea of allowing Intelligent Design in science classes is a sticking point around here: because it is NOT SCIENCE.

God help me find some sanity, because I don't know whether I've gone insane or America has.

perfectly OK to disagree imo. It's the life blood of science and I hope no one will hold it against people who do so with courtesy.
