  •  The election of Hamas is... (none)
...something of a dead give away about popular sentiment among Palestinians on the issue of anti-semitism.   I suspect that Arab governments actually keep a lid on the level of hatred given this run of results in various Arab elections.  I have very little sympathy for this anti art mob violence.

Anyway, Chavez is a man who attempted to overthrow a government that conducted a mass murder followed by a mass burial.  Chavez is ok in my book until he gets gets as bad as the Perez government.    Stewart seemed to be spouting Republican talking points with that Sheehan/Chavez skit.

    •  Yeah, the success of Hamas in the elections (4.00)
couldn't have anything to do with the fact that they've been much more effective, for years, at actually providing for the general, day-to-day welfare of the Palestinian people than the corrupt Araft cabal.  And, of course, any protest against Israel is pure, unadulterated anti-semitism and has nothing to do with anything else.

Yeah, Jon Stewart did appear to be repeating Republican taking points there.  Ironic, ain't it?

Progressives encourage dissent to improve society through constructive engagement. Conservatives encourage dissent to identify and silence the traitors.
