I guess the ferry captain who rammed the Staten Island Ferry into the docks and then ran away must have been Middle Eastern, right?

C'mon, selfish bastards who care more for their own well being than those of others exist everywhere. "True believers" who will do anything, no matter how depraved, for "the cause" exist everywhere. Sometimes they combine in the same person. Sometimes they even become President.

...the ferry captain didn't leave the people on his ship to die miles from shore.  And this involved more than just a captain - crew members abandoned the ship in the first life boats, leaving stranded passengers with no hope.  They also reportedly took life jackets away from passengers and locked some women in their cabins. That's just weird.

had our idiot captains too .Remember the guy who said he was going to organise the rescue from the shore and abandoned ship(might have been Miami).Point is no culture holds the monopoly on calous ,inhumane behavior--the US is after all the only nation in the worlds history that used an atomic device in war so lets skip the cultural depirctions and focus on a relentless western media attack on Islamic tenets, one of which is the sacred potrayal of the Prophet.

Malkin and co won't equate this with their war on christmas meme  but whats the difference.Opie and Anthony paid the price for satire against the catholic church and just because we westerners are not prone to mass rebellion, doesn't dismiss the same degree of condemnation that the radio station received. The lesson:Don't tread on religous symbols.
