Brad is the dude if you want more info. He has been on top of this for a long time. I heard the beginning of this story from his blog a couple months ago.

i refuse to go to his website - all manner of atrocious crap starts hijacking my browser everytime i do.  which is a very rude thing for a website seeking visitors to allow.

The site doesn't do anything for my PC other than load the webpage...stop looking up cheap porn and you should be good to go.
        •  um...fuck you? (none)
i don't surf porn and run all kinds of spyware/virus checkers.  the fact remains:  some sites do nothing, others send the system apeshit.

          •  Have you tried AVG...it's free (none)
Go to the grisoft web site and you can download a free antivirus/antispam for home use.  I use this program on all my home computers and the tech guys at my work think very highly of this program and so have bought a site license for our network.  It updates automatically and this little gem has caught things McAfee missed.  Can't be too careful and the price is good.

          •  do you use Firefox? (none)
If not, you should. And be sure you are running the latest release.  There's also a Javascript blocking plug-in (you can choose to "allow" sites on a case-by-case basis, either temporarily or permanently).

            It's a must.

But then again I never had any problems with Bradblog even before I started using Firefox.
