    Moreover, they'd rather condemn hundreds of thousands of women to the fate of the one pictured in the diary than take the risk.

    And don't forget the tens of thousands of American soldiers, and even more Iraqi civilians, that these same people had no problem condemning to death through the Iraq war. And these are real people, with real families and memories, that also feel pain on a greater scale.

    I still don't get how Republicans can be anti-abortion, yet pro-War, at the same time. Why do Republicans care only about human life before conception? I mean, after conception, forget about public education, student loans, welfare, social security, wartime safety. No, Republican sympathy with life ends at conception (unless the baby belongs to a rich family, of course).

    We need a good bumper-sticker length slogan to shout out, especially in talk shows and news reports, like "Republicans stop caring about human life after birth" but more catchy and clever.

    The ONLY thing the Republicans are successful in is marketing their talking points to the public.
