    CBS News reported this evening that Whittington was still in the ICU while doctors tried to determine just how much, if any, of the shot could be safely removed.  They may have to leave most of it in place.

    And we know the shot pattern from this report, fetched by The Smoking Gun:

      You're quoting a news report that came hours afterwards to back up how this was okay? And the Smoking gun report, which says nothing whatsoever about the victim's injuries? Uhhh, okay.

      That aside, how was I being a "reflexive naysayer"? Really. Show me.

      Again, it is my opinin that this was infammatory and ill-concieved. You disagree. Fine. I voiced my opinion. And troll-or-down-rated nobody for their disagreement. that can not be said for others here.

      If this guy comes out of the hospital without these dire injuries speculted upon here, is there going to be a, "Uh, on second thought..." moment? How can you in the name of fairness and intelligence back such speculation? Especially when compared to what was done to Frist?

      You didn't do it.
