  •  Cheers to SNOW (4.00)
Jeers  to it only lasting about a half hour.  We're on the soggy, warm Left Coast where we hardly ever get snow (Willamette Valley floor), to my child's great despair.  It was lovely walking out into the LR and seeing snowflakes drifting purposefully down.

Cheers to the forecast that says there'll be more in a couple of days.  Just hope, for his sake, that it really shows up.

Jeers to having half of a 5-foot diameter fir stump still left in the backyard -- lost the tree in a freak February wind storm 2-3 years ago.

Cheers to getting a bunch of firewood out of that stump in the backyard during last week when it was dry and sunny.  (It -WAS- 7/8ths of a stump, is now about 1/2!!)  We may need it!

Cheers to forsythia and crocus and primroses and daffodils and little-short-miniature-daffodil-shaped-n-colored guys brightening gray days!

Cheers to not spending a lot of money of VD -- going to dig steaks out of the freezer and maybe go get an ice cream cone for dessert, but mostly watch Olympics all day, 8- ).  Curling is fascinating, I'm learning from my dear Canadian-in-exile, although it takes a LONG time.

Looks like it's going to be a pretty good day.
