    Just read the headlines.  Are you telling me there's not an appeal to irrational xenophobia and bigotry at work there?

    As for security issues, these remind me of the WMD "evidence" everyone "knew" we had on Iraq.  I see a lot of assertions and accusations rather than facts--unless you assume every arab is guilty of terrorism or friends with Al Queda.

    Even if there were legitimate security concerns, the xenophobic appeals are transparent.  If the goal is to further alienate moderate arabs and muslims we need as allies to fight terrorism--good job!
