  •  I live 30 miles from the Cabela's (none)
and we keep saying we're going to stop there or even make a day trip out of it.  Seems like a really amazing place....

Yeah,Kagro, it's amazing what people will believe.

Of course, I do love my lattes, but I also love this g-dammed country, too.

    •  It's pretty nutty. (none)
Makes a great stop for us, because our five year old is endlessly entertained by the trophy animals and the aquarium. Yes, aquarium!

My wife was pleasantly surprised with the clothing at the Bass Pro Shop, though.

Me, I only aspire to an entire wardrobe furnished by Pat Garrett's Sheepskin Outlet.

      •  Thanks for the tip... (none)
My 5 and 3 year olds I'm sure will be similarly wowed by Cabela's.

I think the sheepskin seat covers sound cozy......And someday I hope to see George Jones at the Pat Garrett "Amphitheatre."

But have you ever been to Roadside America?

        •  I have never stopped there. (none)
One of those places I always think about stopping one day, but never do.

I have, however, eaten at Yocco's.

But I no longer wonder whether I will meet God. The sign by the side of the road says I Will.

Not my favorite Lehigh Valley institution....if you're ever heading through again, let me know and I'll treat you to lunch at Damascus....
