  •  Cheers and Jeers - Wednesday D. C. Edition (4.00)
Cheers to the snow that is falling outside.  It's a little bit late this year, but D. C. finally is getting a little snow.  Better late than never.

Jeers to Justice Alito for trying to push ahead of Justice Ginsburg yesterday.  Mind your place and hold the door for the nice lady, Justice Alito.  It's your duty as the junior member of the Supreme Court (and as a gentleman).

Cheers to having a new head of Metro in the Washington, D. C. area, Dan Tangerlini, who actually does not need to be coaxed to ride the subway or the buses to get some first-hand experience in the life of a Metro rider.  I always say that our other car is a BMW (Bus, Metro, Walk).

    •  It's about time (4.00)
I am sick and tired of having Metro board members who never take the Metro.  I remember when the board wanted to reduce the Orange Line 6-car trains to 4-car trains after 8:00 p.m. (or was it 10:00 p.m.) to save $1 million in a year.  What the ---- were those people thinking?

Today, the Court purports to be the dispassionate oracle of the law. - Justice Blackmun
