    of the snowpeas and stringbeans are grown on commercial farms owned by the Kenyan elite solely for export. The majority of the locals can't afford to buy them regularly. The most viable land is used to grow coffee and tea for export too .Since most of Kenya is semi-arid, this desire for foreign exchange actually works against the country when most productive land is used for cash crops.In kenya its against the law to cut a coffee bush!! So the poor starve ,but i get my WAWA AA Kenya coffee every morning..
