  •  Colbert has talent out the wa-zoo. (4.00)
If O'Reilly et al go off the air, Colbert will find a new shtick or a new gig.  And I will take to calling him Saint George.  Make no mistake about it, his lampooning of Bill has put the absurdity of that format front and center.  Part of the decline on FNC is due to The Colbert Report.

    •  It's funny standalone (none)
You don't have to watch O'Reilly at all to find Colbert funny. I had no idea until a friend told me how eerily similar it was. The Word will still be funny even if O'Reilly vanishes into a puff of logic.

That man made the Nicene Creed funny.  Damn funny.

        •  I love Colbert (none)
But I have to say that I miss his regular 'This Week in God' bit on The Daily Show. What kind of crazy-good kharma did The Daily Show scrounge up in order to sign Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Steve Carell at the same time? Ah, those were the days. It was like the Keith Olbermann-and-Dan-Patrick-on-SportsCenter days of Comedy Central television.

        •  Was he all "ashed up"... (none)
tonight? He spoke the whole thing in that "I have to remember this for catechism or Sister Imperputua will beat me within an inch of my life"-like droning monotone. Sounded just like on of the Tribe of Rome...

          Tres funny!
