If so, note New York Penal Law, Part 3, Title N, Article 240 which says in pertinent part:

§ 240.26 Harassment in the second degree.

A  person  is  guilty  of  harassment  in the second degree when, with intent to harass, annoy or alarm another person:
        1. He or she strikes, shoves, kicks or otherwise subjects  such  other person to physical contact, or attempts or threatens to do the same; or
        2. He or she follows a person in or about a public place or places; or
        3. He or she engages in a course of conduct or repeatedly commits acts which  alarm  or  seriously  annoy  such other person and which serve no legitimate purpose.

    (Emphasis added)

Now, maybe it was only one call to one caller, or maybe it was several calls, one to each caller, but since this was a Fox employee, and Bill O'Reilly is a Fox employee, if either one is located in New York, this might constitute a "course of conduct" and guess who's office would be charged with prosecuting the case?

Eliot Spitzer, the current Aspiring Governor Attorney General of the State of New York.

Think he would mind running with the ball on this one? I don't.

Let him figure out if a crime was committed. The investigation alone would be worth the price of admission, the security chief would likely (deservedly) lose his job, and maybe, just maybe, a few affilliates will toss Bill O'verboard.

This is what I've been getting at in my comments on this tonight. A crime may well have been committed. You are a victim only if you do not fight back. Put Bill on the defensive. Get him off his message. Take away his game.

It's what the law is there for.

    •  How do I go about doing this?? (none)
Do you know?? I would be more than willing to file a suit with O'Reilly. The more I think about it, the more it offends me that I called a talk show, for chrissakes, and made a completely innocuous statement, and had some thug call me and threathen me.

Heh. I'm sure glad I don't work for you. You've heard one side of the story and your ready to fire the guy.
