  •  if the rapist is convicted (none)
    and must serve a prison sentence, does the rapist retain any parental rights?  Can the jailed rapist forbid the raped woman from giving the child up for adoption?  Can the jailed rapist prevent the mother from moving to another state?    

    There are just too many complicated questions on this one to even phathom.

      we've heard of where a husband, ex-husband or boyfriend abducts a woman's children and then refuses to tell her if they are safe (or even alive) as a way of exacting yet more pain, I can see where a convicted rapist who thinks hell, I have nothing left to lose, will sue for parental visitation rights for the product of his act of violence, as a way of punishing the woman he violated for having the guts to successfully prosecute him.
