    The real point in this case is: why punish the military??? They can't decide whether to include or exclude gays from the military. Only congress can change the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So if you don't like the policy, it would make more sense to ban congressmen from campuses instead of the military.

    In fact, in one of the greatest ironies ever, Larry Summers, president of Harvard (we all know him well) was a member of the Clinton administration and therefore part of the group that came out with the "don't ask don't tell" policy. Yet here he was, filing a brief in support of banning the recruiters from Harvard. Yet he didn't think to ban one of the real architects of "don't ask, don't tell": HIMSELF!!
