Just like sites are blocked at many workplaces.

There are specific ways that filtering software look at certain sites, and I have NO idea exactly how those filtering programs work (Brady did a good job explaining how they work in this diary and the other one from a couple of days ago - I won't even try to duplicate the details he has already included), but they do NOT look at political agendas when these automated programs deny access to sites.

There is NO evidence that the sites were blocked because of their liberal political content.

The fact that liberal sites were blocked is NOT evidence that sites were blocked because they are liberal. And people that jump to the conclusion that they were blocked because of their political content are committing a logical fallacy.

In my complex, in my clubhouse (their color printer works better than mine, so I'll go over to their business center with my son if he needs to print something out and I'll keep him company), Media Matters is often available for viewing, but sometimes it is not because of word filtering software the complex has installed to keep people from hate sites and pornography. Media Matters is not blocked because of it's political content, and I am not convinced that these other sites are either - they ALLOW access to the French Communist party site, as well as the state site of North Korea and DailyKos - if they were blocking for content, wouldn't ya think that THOSE sites would be blocked too?

    ...but not your own facts.
