    but in reality, having closed primaries would cut down on cross-party voting because most people wouldn't go through the effort of the registration process just to vote in the other party's primary.

    Some would, no doubt, but I bet in most cases the numbers would be small enough not to make much of a difference.

    Democrats will fight for a Renewed Deal with the American people.
