    is because it was feared to be flu. Think about it (it's true). It turned out SARS was a new virus, spread by patients to health care workers, but that wasn't appreciated at the time.

    Flu isn't a hosital infection, it's a community-acquired infection and makes SARS look like the common cold. Nonetheless, you're learning the wrong lesson from SARS.
