  •  Yeah.....we're tough guys (2+ / 0-)

The whole idea is: shock and awe, blow them all to Hell, prove we're the tough guys.

We sure are tough guys when we can take a jet, flying about 5 or 10 miles up in the air - too far away for anyone to hear, drop a 500 pound bomb - that won't reach the ground until that tough jet is about 50 miles away, and blow up a whole building containing good guys, bad guys, children, families, injured people, whatever, and those people inside have NO chance to defend themselves, escape, take cover or even argue whether they should even be blown to smithereens.

Now if that, my friends, doesn't "prove we're the tough guys"........well I just don't know what will.

And then the sonofabitches inside that building never appreciate that we send in our medics and rescuers to help them poor victims of collateral damage from ordinance that strayed off course. Sometimes we even give them some money cause we killed a bunch of their family members. And they still don't love us. Go figure.

*How could 59,054,087 people be so DUMB?*

Nah, that's not what it really takes to be a tough guy.  The toughest of the tough, the hardest of the boiled, are the ones who watch at home and wave flags while the jets fly.  I mean, it takes guts and courage to cheerlead for war, eh?  At least that's what I've been told.
