But I also followed up with one to the DNC contribute page which popped up:

I am so pissed off at the state of affairs, I just had to express myself, rant I suppose, and send it off into the electronic netherworld. Not that I feel better now. But maybe I will be like the small Who in Whoville whose voice added enough decibles and finally broke through to the monkies listening.

The Democratic party continues to flail. Gonzalas, Alito, Roberts. What does it take for you to finally recognize that the nation is screaming for strong leadership? Bush at 34% and you COWER at the thought of making a strong statement supporting Feingold's resolution. Pathetic. Not a cent will I provide the party until you cast off the corporate leash and LEAD! Do you hear me? do you hear us? An illegal war, thousands dead, secret energy policy, no oversight at all, treasonous exposure of secret operatives, torture and illegal imprisonment without legal rep. What does it take. I am furious and despondent. Who will lead? Who will support Russ? Who will go after this corrupt administration, the DeLay's, the Frists...I want LEADERSHIP and COURAGE. Who will provide it? Not one more cent to any of you until I see a unified spine to go after the liars and the crooks. A minority party must fight and fight and fight. You must control the message. "oh the dissarray of the dems, oh they have no ideas, oh they are weak and disorganized'. That is the message you must overcome. The Republicans will not self implode. Waiting for that is not a strategy. Damn it. Wake up and kick some ass. Fight and earn our respect and support. For the people and by the people...not your corporate masters.
