that being a moral conservative is not the same as being a fiscal conservative or a politicial conservative.

Bush is a moral conservative.  In all other respects he is nuts.

    •  Oh no. (5+ / 0-)

"Bush is a moral conservative.  In all other respects he is nuts."

W is just as nuts as a moral conservative as he is in all other areas.

    •  Bush is a not just a moral conservative (4+ / 0-)

      He's a moral hoarder. A moral miser.

I can't name a single moral decision this man has made.

He must be conserving all his morality for something really, really important.

      •  He needs every bit of his morality (0+ / 0-)

to resist getting blow jobs in the Oval Office. Every bit, none to spare for dying, exploded people, poor people trying to get a college education for their kids, old people trying to pay for prescriptions, black people drowning when the levees breach. He's got his priorities. There's a desk blotter calendar on the desk in the Oval Office. Harriet Miers sticks a gold star on the appropriate square every day Bush DOESN'T get a blow job from a woman not his wife. (Not that he ever gets one from her either.)

He thinks he can make it to Jan. 19, 2009 with a perfect permanent record.

        •  I guess I meant values, not morals (0+ / 0-)

You know, those values they keep trying to force on the rest of us.  Those conservative values. The ones nobody wants, but they wish everyone else had.

are not the ones I want to have.  When dipshit refused to fund stem cell research, I couldn't even look at my niece for a week.  She has Type 1 diabetes. All of us would give every penny we had for a chance for a cure. She's a wonderful woman, in law school, just got engaged.  Still, someone we know just died from complications from diabetes. I hate to see her live with that kind of fear.

And when he lined up those 100 families who had supposedly rescued embryos and had kids, I was so angry, I was crying.  So I called Meghan's father, and said "Oh, look, he only has to find good homes for 399,900 more." Then we said a lot of things about the Prez that are best left between us in this day and age.

He has no compassion. He has no empathy. If he did, he would realize that dumping hundreds of thousands of embryos in the trash does nothing to promote life - it ENDS life. It leaves people suffering, when there could be a cure.

I hope they create a special place for him in hell.
