    that I wouldn't vote.

I'll vote Democratic until the day I die :)

But if Democrats think I'll volunteer for their campaign and GOTV and work myself to the bone for them fighting RNC spin and calling up voters and canvassing, they have another thing coming.

They'll have my vote--one vote, and nothing more.

As long as you keep voting Dem, they will keep on acting like wimps. Assuming that the dem in your district wins, this is what he or she will assume: support Bush, use corporate money and electoral victory follows. That's the messasge that you deliver.

The only way that a dem will learn a lesson is by being punished. And the only punishment that a dem understands is losing an election. None of us are voting GOP, so that is out. But staying at home is almost as bad. You remove yourself from the voting population and they just ignore you.

No, if you don't like the dem in your district, then vote thrid party. That tells them two things: that you are still voting, and what you are looking for in a candidate.

One last thing, Georgia. You might as well not vote this fall. We all know how important the GOTV and the calls and the cash is. By not doing this stuff, you are making it that much harder for the Dem to win. Why not go the rest of the way and just not vote for the person?
