liberal almost across the board.
democratic record:
voted for gore and clinton. helped democrats campaign in new hampshire and georgia. attends party fundraisers.
not saying he doesn't also have a republican record, but that's the democratic one.

and lobbying and even testifying against the war?
and i'm curious why a resume and a record are mutually exclusive.

Again, he has no record because he has never held elective office.
He has position papers and that's it.
Again, I am not "against Clark"... I will support him as an ABB, but I need someone with a record of holding an elected office and a voting record in said office(s) to go on, not simply campaign speeches and campaign produced position papers.

but you're right, according to those links i gave he has no record. :-\ here are the real ones:

I state that I am not anti-Clark and support him as an ABB candidate because as was clearly seen on the old dKos, anything I (or anyone else posted) that deign to express reservations about his candidacy, brought some very troll like knee-jerk responses form more than a few rabid Clark supporters.

Again, I think the positions he is espousing are good ones, but let's not pretend he has a record on the matter.
by Lestatdelc on Thu Oct 16, 2003 at 09:39:08 AM PDT
He has no record other than his military career.
I am not against Clark, and think he is saying the right things, but why your pretending there is some record that he can bring forward?
He has none.

I will support Clark as an ABB, but I will not drink the kool-aid for someone who has never held elective office as POTUS.

foreign policy experience: none combat experience: N/A record dealing with multinational coalitions: nonexistent relations with foreign heads of state: none grasp of military operations: weak
sorry, but my standards are a bit higher than that. with more soldiers' lives on the line than any other post-WWII period, i think they deserve better. i don't care if dean balanced the VT budget a hundred times.
