Seriously. Dems, join the NRA. Change it. Every year they're out there screaming about how we'll take their guns away. Nobody wants to take their guns away. I just don't want criminals buying assault weapons.
Or, get the police to take on the NRA on the assault weapons issue.
I thought Kerry did a brilliant job of talking about this in the second debate, actually. Who knows if it went far enough.
