The ES&S guy here is basically saying that while the machines have no paper trail themselves, because they don't print any receipt or other hard evidence of what each individual voter selected, but hey -- the election official is free to print out the unprovable, unauditable internal vote totals from the machine as many times as she likes!  They'll probably be the same every time!
