Thank God that this is exactly the point Kerry is pushing.  Many of us have felt that the last four years - and especially the last two - have been a time when our goverment (and much of our culture) has taken a bizarre and deeply disturbing detour from reality.  Now, reality is biting back in Iraq, and it's coming at the expense of the Iraqi people and our own American soldiers.

But reality is beginning to bite back on the campaign trail as well.  Thank God Almighty.
