I'm new-ish, hence I'm not familiar with Zephyr. It obviously comes as no news that people suck, and it's certainly worse when their venom is unfairly aimed at you - or in this case Markos.  Zephyr recanting, even if it happens, won't really change much.  I do think, as I wrote earlier, this will be a semi-regular affair now.  If not Zephyr, or O'Reilly, somebody.

Me, I don't have the stomach, or the passion for politics on that level - and I don't know Markos, but I suspect and hope that he does.  He's come to represent something very important, and that's an achievement - now he's going to have to deal with the downside of the power he's earned.  That is the price of having your voice heard - facing the demons against which you speak.  

You are his friend.  The majority of us here don't know him yet we are his friends too.  Ultimately, you can do what you do for friends - offer advice, offer support, and wait for them to tell you what they need.  People like Zephyr are nothing in the larger scheme of things - this is just a chance to hone his media skills for the real battles yet to come.  He's made it this far, he'll find his own way.  Keep the faith.
