Basically Bush does not have defensible positions. He can be attacked on multiple topics at the same time. His base has seen his weakness and is not willing to expose themselves to the attacks that are developing.
I give Reid a lot of credit. Bush is not going to enjoy his next 3 years.

Remember, THEY hate us for our Freedom! The freedom for the President to do as he damn well pleases.

  Is pretty much standing on sinking sand. Every day it pleases me to no end to recount that the Bushies didn't have a good day (week, month, etc.).
